Good things come to those who wait… EUSA finally gets online voting
Posted by admin on in News tagged with politicsThe enabling motion to allow University of Edinburgh students the opportunity to vote for or against future students association motions online, was passed on Tuesday evening at an extraordinary general meeting held in the south hall of Pollock halls. The motion, which had failed twice already over the past academic year, was voted through by a margin of 9 votes. Though 87 percent of those in attendance voted in favour, with 357 voters and required quoracy of 300 for the motion to pass, 309 proved enough to secure victory.
