Not strictly a student card but the bite card (http://www.bitecard.co.uk/) is useful for those of us that travel by rail to uni. Saves 20% in certain food places. There is a full list on the website. I wouldn’t say the NUS card is worth it. It was, when it cost £1, but paying a tenner for it is ridiculous. Most places will usually just take your uni ID anyway.
The HMV card is worth getting.
And if you live near any Scream bars, get a Yellowcard. Costs £1 & gives you 20 – 30p off most drinks, so is good to have.
