I attended the Bat for Lashes gig at the 02 ABC on the 19^th October with relatively high expectations of this band that are now only starting to become popular and shine through in the music world. Natasha Khan and her band did not let me down as they provided a faultless and mesmerising set of classics from there two albums ‘Fur and Gold’ and ‘Setting Sun’. Natasha Khans voice echoed through the halls of the ABC, her voice pitch perfect and her band containing an array of musical instruments did not fail to please.

In my opinion the outstanding performances of the night were from; ‘Horse and I’ – with the thundering drum beat like pounding hooves. ‘Siren Song’ - with her angelic and astounding vocals and beautiful piano, this song truly made my hairs stand on end.  ‘Danielle’ – one of there more upbeat songs, which had the crowd breakout in some slight dance moves and finally there encore ‘Prescilla’.
