Cherry Vimto and www.promroyalty.com are bringing a touch of magic to this year’s prom season, by launching a competition for girls to design their perfect frock. The search is on for a fashionista to design the ultimate dream dress, which will be brought to life and created especially for their big night or other special occasion. A limited edition version will also be available for sale on the Prom Royalty website with the proceeds going to the Teenage Cancer Trust. Victoria Ward of Prom Royalty says: “Proms have proved to be massively popular with teenagers and schools alike, adding an exciting highlight at the end of the school year and are fast becoming a rite of passage. We’re delighted to be working with Cherry Vimto to give the winner of this competition their first opportunity as a fashion designer.” Victoria, one of the UK’s foremost prom commentators, will be heading up the judging panel. This panel is looking for a sleek and elegant design to ensure a chic head-turning entrance when they show off their own creation.
